More info…
All members receive minutes, notices of meetings, information and opportunities of interest by email and the option of involvement in any committee!
It is understood that not all prospective members are able to attend noon-hour meetings. A few members do not attend the monthly meeting but serve on a working group which meets at another time (e.g., Event Planning Committee; Education and Communication Committee; Incident Reporting Committee, Community Safety & Well-Being Committee).
Here is a brief summary of the working groups for members interested in joining one of them:
DTB Committees Overview – 2022
Some members only attend the March 21st Breakfast but choose to maintain membership to show their support of Diversity’s goal.
Average attendance at meetings is 20.
At an Annual General Meeting held each November, volunteers from the membership agree to serve as officers for a three year term.
Members may also volunteer to chair one of the monthly meetings. It is a safe and supportive space to hone your skills in this area!
Prospective members are welcome to attend a meeting of DTB (held virtually the 4th Wednesday of the month except for March, July, August and December) at 12 noon via Zoom to learn more about us before becoming a member.
